On the morning of November 16, Shanghai Qihua was invited to attend the 5th "World Water Valley" Forum and the opening of the 5th "Overseas China" Forum. The opening ceremony was attended by more than 700 guests from 28 countries and territories. To use water as a vein to explore the building of an ecological civilization of exchange, how to deal with big risks, seize big opportunities, and build a cross-industry and cross-disciplinary community of innovation and entrepreneurship. 

During the on-site dialogue and exchange, the guests gave keynote speeches on water ecology strategy, development of water ecology economy, comprehensive water ecology management, etc. Liu Xuezhao, president of the China Water Resources Political Research Association, mentioned that the development framework of water culture includes theoretical research on water culture, pampering the water ecology and water engineering construction, water cultural heritage protection and utilization, water culture education and dissemination, water ideology and culture, etc." The new practice of water governance in the new era, the need for a prosperous water culture; the new era of water reform and development of the cause, also need to vigorously carry out the construction of water culture and adapt to it."

" China's water problems are complex, with both internal problems and water relations with neighboring countries." Zhong Yong, director of the Mekong Water Cooperation Center, interpreted the water cooperation between the Lancang River and the Mekong River, "Only by solving water problems well can we better serve the livelihood issues of the countries."
